It's no secret that RV sales increased throughout 2020 due to the pandemic. When most other travel options were put on hold, people turned their attention to the benefits of RVing. This led to an RV shortage. While the country has largely reopened now, the current situation continues to impact industries, including the RV industry.
There continues to be a shortage of RVs to meet the current demand. And even though manufacturers are ready to meet that demand, nationwide supply chain issues are getting in the way.
Like other vehicles, RVs are built from parts that are manufactured in many different locations. That means if there is a hold up with even one small part, it delays the manufacturing time of the entire RV. And this is happening on a large scale across the board right now.
So, you should expect to see rising MSRPs for at least the rest of 2021. But if you're in the market for an RV, there are a few things you can do to still get a good price on a new or pre-owned RV.

1. Shop our current inventory of new 2021 models
Sky River RV has 2021 models in our current inventory that were shipped before the price increases were put in place. This means you can still get a brand new RV at a great price. And we have a great selection to choose from. But you're going to want to act fast because as news gets out, these units are going to move fast.
