An RV is an extension of yourself in many ways. Your style, taste, and the options available to you based on what you enjoy really shine in the type of setup you have with your rig. When you first buy an RV there are a few basics you’ll want to tackle right away in your journey to make it feel like your Home Away from Home.
The Bed
- The bed is the dominant decorative unit in the bedroom. The color of the pillows and blanket can make or break the style of the bedroom. You can use them to accent colors or to be the dominant color in the room.
Lighting
- LED lights are bright and low energy consuming beems of light. They can add so much to a room, making it look bigger and brighter. Who wants to live in a dark cave, lighten it up. You can get fancy and use LED candles to spice up your life.
Photos
- You travel to fun and scenic locations. This means that you should share some of your favorite memories on the walls of the RV. Pics are one of the most powerful things we can use to positively affect our moods.
Mattress
- Being that we spend so much of our lives in bed (usually 1/3 of our life), it makes sense to go above and beyond to ensure that you sleep like a baby. We recommend getting a mattress topper or mattress pad. Most people who have done this would never go back to a regular RV mattress.
The Outdoor Setup
- The outdoor area should be both inviting (organized) and functional (having the stuff you need for adventure). With just a little thought and creativity you can transform your outdoor area to be the “Perfect” paradise while you stay at that RV Park.
