Fun Fall Destinations for Halloween RVing on the Central Coast

Halloween is approaching quickly as the end of the fall season is right around the corner. But just because fall is coming to a close doesn’t mean your camping trips need to. On the central coast, the weather is more temperate—and beautiful—than in other parts of the country. This makes for enjoyable camping all year long. So, why not do a little RVing for Halloween? Bring your costumes and candy to make this spooky holiday a little more special.

Here are some central coast RV campgrounds and resorts to explore this fall:

Santa Cruz/ Monterey Bay KOA

This campground offers everything you need for a Halloween getaway. Monterey Bay is just a stone’s throw away from the area. This makes it a piece of cake to take a walk to the beach, or even book a spot with your RV to camp next to the waves.

This Halloween, they’re offering fun festivities every weekend for those at the campground. Their Halloween Spooktacular features:

  • Pumpkin carving contests
  • Site decorating contests
  • Pumpkin patch party
  • Live music
  • Even a Headless Horseman

Join in the festivities with your children by dressing up and going Trick or Treating from RV to RV!
