Lasting generations – Airstreams spend time on the road creating memories, not in the land fills! It has been stated that approxatemtly 70% of all Airstream ever produced are still being used! No single brand of travel trailer undergoes more renovations and changes in its life than the Airstream Trailer.
Aerodynamic design and tow ability -Another Green aspect of Airstream is its aerodynamic design and ease of towing. With its design, the Airstream trailer enjoys an approximate 20% fuel savings versus traditional “box” travel trailers.
Environmental Impact– The “end of life environmental impact” of the Airstream trailer is minimal. The 3 elements of an Airstream trailer are aluminum, steel and wood. Each of these materials are easily recyclable.
Manufacturing Process– The Airstream manufacturing process stresses water conversation, uses energy efficient lighting and employs an aggressive scrap recycling program. On the Airstream campus, scrap aluminum, wood, cardboard and copper wiring from manufacturing are recycled.
