6 Women RVers you should be following

Are you a woman that is ready to hit the road solo? There are many people that have transitioned to the RV lifestyle. There are plenty of blogs, YouTube channels, and Instagram accounts showing couples and families that have taken the leap. But, if you are hitting the road on your own these are six women that you are going to want to follow.

1. Gaelyn the Geogypsy

Gaelyn has not only traveled the country she has traveled the world. She has been on a traveling journey over the past 40 years. She spent plenty of time working at different National Parks and has enjoyed blogging throughout the process. If you want to check out some places before you decide to travel there on your own hop over to Geogypsy to see if Gaeyln has already been there.

2. Pippi Peterson

Pippi Peterson has grabbed hold of life and set out on an adventure. She travels the country in her RV with her dog. She shows that women can do it anything they want and shares her tips on RV living and maintenance. Pippi posts to her YouTube channel weekly and they are always chocked full of great information. She has a great video (below) that shares all about her RV and how she has tailored it to make it work for her. If you are looking for help on transitioning to the RV life, or just want a little inspiration check her out.

3. Becky Schade at Interstellar Orchard

Almost six years ago Becky Schade decided to head out on an adventure of her own. She is super open about her travels and has a fun about page that introduces you to her, her truck, and her RV. She has well laid out travel plans for 2018 so you can see exactly where she has been and where she plans to go (hint-hint some of it’s in our part of the country). You can also see where the past years have taken her around the United States.

4. Julianne G. Crane at RV Wheel Life

If you are looking for an expert writer in the RV world than Julianne G. Crane is your girl. She has spent decades not only RVing but writing about it for major publications and blogs. While she is based out of the Pacific Northwest she spends most of her time out on the road. She not only shares her own stories, but she stays on top of the latest news in the RV industry, making RV Wheel Life a great blog to check out.

5. Carolyn’s RV Life

After overcoming some difficulties in life she is now enjoying life on the road with her dog Capone. Her YouTube channel is where she shares her experiences, tips, and more. But, she’s not all about showing you a “how to” when it comes to the nitty-gritty details of RVing. Instead, her channel is to inspire others that they can accomplish the same. She is unapologetically herself and authentic, which we love in today’s world.

6. CoolCat Carolena

CoolCat Carolena lives a nomadic life. Her plan was to buy a tiny house, but she switched it up and decided to give it a go living in a van. She shares what she enjoys about her lifestyle, but isn’t afraid to share the things that can go wrong as well such as transmission and electrical problems. If you are thinking about hitting the road as a solo woman and are concerned about using an RV then check out her channel to see how she’s successfully living in a Class B van. RV life might not be for you, but Van Life might be just what you are looking for.
