5 Reasons to Make Your First Motorhome a Class A

Deciding which class of motorhome to buy is a big decision. The last thing you want is to rush into it and have buyer’s remorse for years to come wishing you had gone with a different option. Many people decide to start with a Class C instead of a Class A in an effort to “ease” their way in. However, trying to start low and work your way up isn’t always the best option. There is a lot to be said for purchasing a Class A as your first motorhome. Here are 5 reasons you should start with Class A.

1. You get more room

Rarely does anyone complain about having “too much” room in their RV. Instead, they are looking for ways to add storage space to their RV. In general, Class A motorhomes are the largest RVs on the market. They provide the additional room that provides you with the ability to enjoy things like larger bathrooms, king-sized beds, additional sleeping areas, and living space that allows you to have more than just a few people visiting.

2. Enjoy the luxuries of home

The additional room in a Class A motorhome affords you the comforts of home. You can enjoy things like tiled floors, a full sized washer and dryer, and an electric fireplace. If you plan on spending some serious time in an RV than a Class A is a great option to make life on the road easier. There is additional counter tops, more storage for your belongings, tall ceilings, and multiple areas to enjoy when you need a break from the rest of the group.

3. You want a smoother and easier drive

Class A motorhomes can provide you with a smoother and easier drive than other RV options. You aren’t towing your RV behind you, which makes it easier to get on the road. You can hop in and go instead of needing to hook up to your tow vehicle. The captain’s chairs are usually incredibly comfortable and provide you with an incredible panoramic view that makes it easy to see exactly what’s happening around you. And, once you park most of the captain’s seats in Class A RVs swivel around to provide additional seating in your main living space.

4. It’s easy to set up camp

Class A RVs are easy to set up once you arrive at the campground. You can simply push a few buttons to take advantage of auto leveling, awnings, and just about every other part of set up that you need to do. This takes the hassle out of arriving to the campground and gives you more time to enjoy while you’re on the road.

5. You don’t have to upgrade later

Many people try to start with a smaller option like a Class C only to find that they decide to upgrade to a Class A after awhile. Those that start with Class A motorhomes don’t usually decide to drop down to a Class C after owning a larger RV. If you think you want to spend a lot of time on the road, or just want additional space then it might just be easier to just jump right in with a Class A like an Entegra. They are roomy, smooth to drive, luxurious, and let you bring the comforts of home on the road with you.
