4 Helpful Resources for Women RVers

RVing is for everyone and women have been taking steps to connect and help each other out in the industry. Here are some great resources for women RVers everywhere.

 

 

 

1. Meetup – Women’s Camping

Meetup is a website that allows people to connect with others that have similar interests. It’s a great option to enjoy your favorite hobbies and meet new friends in the process. It’s also fantastic if you don’t have friends or family that share your interests. There is an entire section of the site that is devoted to women’s camping. Once you become a member of the group you can post camping meetups for women RVers. You can also search for meetups all around the country.

2. YouTube

YouTube, the popular online platform makes a great resource for women RVers. Go to YouTube and search with phrases like “solo women RVers” or “women RVers”. Mix up the words a little for each search, but it will bring you to a wealth of information. The Sky River YouTube Channel is a great resource as well.

 

There are how-to videos that you will find incredibly helpful along with stories of women that decided to pack it up and hit the road full-time.  In the videos you can find people that you connect well with and many of them will also have a link to a blog or website that you can follow along with them on. It’s a great way to see destinations other women are traveling to and find the answers to your questions, especially if you are a visual learner.

3. Women RV

The Women RV website is open to all women from all walks of life. Some women in the group RV alone while others have large families that they RV with. Some of the women in the group RV full-time and others just on the occasional weekend. The one thing that they all have in common is their love for RVing. This site is a community and forum for women to communicate with one another around one of their favorite hobbies. It’s a place to ask questions, offer support, and share fun ideas.

4. Malia’s Miles

Malia’s Miles is a website that is written by a solo women RVer. She uses the site to share her knowledge of RVing and her own personal experience. Malia shares great destinations to visit along with product reviews that can help you find the right products to use while you RV. She also has a page on her site where she shares links to other pages by women RVers. It’s a great place to find a few sites that you connect with the most.

There are women RVers all around the country ready to help you on your RVing journey. Whether you are RVing with friends, family, or on your own there is an adventure waiting to be had. There are plenty of resources, like those mentioned above that can help you find the best destinations, learn the tips and tricks to make RVing easier and more enjoyable, and just allow you to connect with others that share your interest.
