Good afternoon again, guys. John Bueler with Sky River RV here. Here to tell you about a beautiful 2013 Montana Mountaineer by Keystone. The first thing you notice when you look at this unit, is you’ve got a nice mirror here. This is what they call “Hitch Vision”. It’s designed to line up with your rear view mirror. One person can hook this up. Anytime, day or night, you’ve got a nice LED light here.
Montana has the best turning radius in the industry. They achieved that with this gel-coated fiberglass front cap. It gives you a 79-degree turning radius. In addition to the LED light in the front, Montana gives you several lights on the exterior of the unit for your safety when nighttime camping.
Coming over here a little bit further back, you notice Montana gives you an adjustable electric awning. A push of a button will bring this out. Even a child could do it. A child could bring it out, bring it in. If you’re out fishing or you’re running errands, the wind picks up, you don’t have to worry about your family struggling with the awning to bring it in.
Notice these walls on the Montana. They’re gel-coated fiberglass. You have aluminum studs on 16-inch centers running the full length of the coach. This is actually a six-sided aluminum super-structure. It’s very lightweight and extremely strong.
Coming over here into the passengers’ storage, notice two slam latches, real easy to close, nice and secure. You open it up and notice I don’t have to do any work. It does all the work for me. It stays up and out of the way. Notice the angle on this. You don’t have to worry about coming up and hitting your head when you’re pulling something out. Nice strong seals, going to keep all your belongings nice and dry. A lot of companies like to try to save time and money by just leaving it plain wood. Not with the Montana.
Montana even gives you a TV mount here in this under-compartment for tailgating, that sort of thing if you want to watch TV while you’re grilling outside, while enjoying the outdoors. The TV in the bedroom is designed to slide off the mount there. You can easily attach it here. You add your cable and satellite connections. You can even enjoy the football game outside.
Notice Montana uses one piece of fiberglass here to finish the underside of the hitch area. A lot of companies like to have two pieces that come together, forming a seam right here. The disadvantage to having a seam here on your coach is that it’s subjected to the wind, the rain, bugs. All those things are going to make that seam weak, and when that seam finally does give way it’s going to leave your coach susceptible to rot and mildew. Not with the Montana.
Notice Montana even gives you an additional storage compartment underneath, already prepped for a generator. If you don’t want to use a generator, you can easily store all your outdoor equipment for all your outdoor fun and needs.
This is Montana’s battery compartment. Notice they give you a sealed vented battery, very safe. Easy to access your battery in case you need to do maintenance, jump it, anything like that. Notice Montana also uses a sealed, insulated slide room. If you’re late-fall or winter camping you’re not going to have drafts of air coming in. It’s a lot more comfortable. It protects you and your family from the elements.
I’m now standing at the opposite side of this Mountaineer’s full-passenger storage. Notice you’ve got a high-quality motorhome-style control bay and an outside shower, winterizing system, city water, black tank flush, all your levers. You have all your satellite prep, cable hookups here.
The great thing about this outside shower being so close to the black tank flush is – as you know, nothing cleans better than hot water – you can easily use this hose. Plug it in right there to your outside shower. Plug it in to your black tank flush. Now you can flush out your tanks with hot water instead of cold water. It’ll be a lot cleaner, a lot easier to use.
Now, every Montana is equipped with 50-amp power supply, and notice how sturdy this aluminum ladder is and how easy it is to access as I climb up, allowing me to have access to the top of the roof. Again, this being a Four Seasons coach, it’s snow-load tested. There’s a 12-year warranty, once again. One piece all the way down from tip to end.
Notice here next to the spare tire, Montana gives you a convenient electric stabilizer system, gets you camping a lot quicker. Remember when we were talking about Montana’s outside entertainment system with the TV in the front? They also give you high-quality outside speakers, so not only can you watch the game, you can watch it in stereo-quality sound.
One new feature that we’re excited about, and it’s exclusive to Montana, is the More Ride CRE 3000 Suspension System. Most coaches only have one inch of travel of the Leaf spring-style suspension. With the More Ride, you get three inches of travel. All of Montana’s sleek aluminum wheels sit on easy-lube axles. This eliminates the need to take off the wheel, repack your bearings every few thousand miles. You just plug in a grease gun and get going camping.
The first thing you notice when you walk into a Montana is just how open and spacious it is. Great for camping, you could even live in one of these. Also, you can live in convenience. Everything in this Montana can be controlled right here on this control panel. Your electric awning, your electric slide system, your floodlights, your levelers, everything can be controlled right here. It’s quick and convenient, easy to find.
Montana offers casual elegance with flex steel furniture, hickory cabinets and stylings. Notice right above my head here we have a whisper-quiet, 15,000-BTU air conditioner. It’s fully ducted with triple insulated foam core A/C duct that runs the full length of the coach. It’s going to cool down the bedroom, the kitchen, the living room evenly.
Notice the beautiful raised panel hickory cabinetry on this refrigerator. The great thing about having a Norcold refrigerator is they were first designed for marine use. So they have to deal with all the pitching and churning on the ocean, so no matter where you’re camping it’s going to be able to keep your food nice and cool. It even has ten-cubic feet of storage for all your goodies. It’ll keep everything nice and cold.
Coming into the full kitchen you have here, notice you have solid surface counter tops, a big enough oven for a turkey. You’ve got a three-burner cooktop, a very large, oversized microwave. You can stick just about anything in there, all surrounded with beautiful hickory cabinetry. This Montana is equipped with Moen faucets, two-side stainless steel sink. The covers even double as cutting boards.
I’m now sitting at the residential-style hickory dinette. It has a counter top extension if you need seating for more than four. Located conveniently underneath your entertainment system here – which is actually a CD, DVD and MP3 player with speaker control systems for inside, outside, or both – you have your 5,000-BTU electric fireplace. Now, this fireplace can be used for just ambiance. It can also be used for heat. Most Montanas are equipped with a high-definition 32-inch flat screen TV.
In a Montana you’re never going to be at a loss for storage. You have ample storage in just about every square inch of the coach. You’ve even got a nice coat closet. Coming into the bedroom we have even more storage. Nice drawers, again all hickory. The closet here can fold and stack clothes, or you could even use this for a washer and dryer. It already has washer and dryer hookups for you.
Even under the bed you have storage. If we lift it up here, it’s on lifters. So if you do need to get something out from underneath there you don’t have to worry about it coming down on your head. This is a king-sized bed and a 29-foot fifth wheel. Now, ladies, I want you to notice how big this closet is. You’re not going to have any shortage of space for all of your clothes.
Here at Sky River RV, we’re always telling you how fun it is to go camping and how to use one of these things. But the most important thing about a Montana is the warranty. They have over 1,000 dealers nationwide. No matter where you’re at you’re going to be able to find parts and service. Another great thing, we’re talking about how nice it is to even live in one of these, if you were to be in one of these full-time, Montana will not void your warranty. They’ll stand by you and they stand by their product.
Once again, my name is John Bueler. I want to thank you for giving me the time to show you this beautiful 29-foot Montana Mountaineer.
